Photoshoots with Our Horses

Thank you for your interest in our private, family farm! Our property has been beautifully maintained for over 30 years and is a wonderful location for photography. The farm features a wide variety of settings including pastures, creek, stone bridge, stone wall, forest, green house, forest, and two riding arenas (one covered in case of rain).

Our farm has been used for photoshoots for Macy's, Stirrups Clothing Company, Style My Ride, Sweet Fresno Photography, Janet Howard Photography, James Hill Photography, , Greg Thomas Studio of KY, Charlotte Detienne Photography, Jessica Ann Designs & MORE!

Any photoshoot must be pre-approved as this is a private farm. We recommend scheduling photoshoots at minimum 2-3 weeks in advance, but 4 weeks is probably best. The horses are available for photo sessions May through September for the best experience and scenery. Photo sessions are to take place weekends or after 6:30pm on weekdays. Please e-mail us for available dates or email us your preferred dates to jagarabiansporthorses@gmail.com. We recommend selecting two days - including a 2nd one for a backup "rain date." 

We must receive the Certificate  of Insurance for the photographer & all signed liability release waivers when the date is selected and scheduled. All those who will be on the property the day of the photo session must email signed liability release waivers when the date is selected. This includes make-up artists, hair stylists, any assistants, family members, etc. that will be coming onsite.

Please note our farm is a private residence and a working horse farm with limited parking. We will generally limit sessions to 1 session per day for the best experience and time at the farm. 

Payment in full must be made before​ arrival to the farm before photo s​ession and reserve date. 

Photography session pricing is as follows for 2025:

- $200 for horse handler/assistant, use of 2 horses, and use of the property per hour.
OR
$100 for horse handler/assistant, use of 1 horse, and use of the property for 30 minutes.

- $100 for cleaning up per horse (trimming hair, bathing, etc.) for the session. This includes 1.5 hours to 2 hours preparation the day before the photoshoot and 30 minutes to 1 hour day of preparing the horse day of the photoshoot.

- If you want the horse’s mane and/or tail braided that is an additional fee. We will outsource to a trusted, experienced professional for their beautiful work. Let us know if you are interested in this option and we can send you their current price list.

If you are an experienced equestrian yourself you are welcome to come the day before and/or morning before to groom, bath, etc. the horses to reduce the fees.  Please reach out to us if you are an experienced equestrian and would like that option.

Please Note: If you are doing a photoshoot longer than 30 minutes, we will require 2 horses unless your model will be doing outfit changes or photos by themselves that will allow the horse food, water, and general breaks at least 2-3 times within the hour. If you need a photoshoot longer than 1 hour at the farm please let us know for current pricing. 

We also offer a trade option for a photo session in return for use of the farm/horses as long as schedule allows.

Please email us at jagarabiansporthorses@gmail.com for the current liability release form & FAQ document. All individuals onsite must have signed and emailed a liability release form including assistants, hair or make up artists, etc. when the photoshoot date has been scheduled.

NOTE: When parking on property please do NOT park on the grass. Please park in parking spots on the gravel and on the concrete in front of the barn or to the right of the barn. Please also do not block the driveway or barn entry so horse care takers, etc. can come and go as needed. Please drive slowly up the driveway to watch for horses, the farm cat, deer, etc. when driving in for everyone's safety. Thank you for understanding.
