Sire of JAG Dekadence & JAG Khasanova

“Khal” was such an incredibly easy horse to start under saddle and even as a “green bean” he was the best to hop on or do photoshoots bareback, take trail riding, or jumping. So patient, kind, and relaxed! 💕🦄 Megan took over the reins for Khal from Kathy and Khal is now one of Megan’s main riding horse at the very epitome of the “adult amateur” stage of Megan’s life. They built a strong partnership because of it. Khal and Megan have been doing it all - from classical longlining to positive reinforcement to really digging deep into fitness building and in hand work. Thank you Khalahari for all you’ve taught and continue to teach and look forward to sharing so many years of adventures together!

Some More Fun Facts About Khal:

- Khal LOVES doing baited stretches.

- He is an absolute charmer and LOVES attention! His favorite place to be scratched is on his chest or underneath his neck or underneath his mane near the roots.

- He also loves to be hosed off with water in the heat, and will stand to be hosed without being tied.

- Even as a green or lightly started under saddle horse, Khal was so easy and willing to go bareback.

- He was known around our farm for 16 years for his long, glorious mane until we shortened it! He was our resident “Fabio.”
